Important Notice for Travelers

India has implemented Yellow Fever vaccine entry requirements under the International Health Regulations (IHR) 2005.
Under IHR, travelers > 9 months of age, arriving from Brazil - Yellow Fever Endemic Country (as notified by GoI from time to time, available at https://www.ihpoe.mohfw.gov.in/vaccination.php
All travelers departing for India must possess a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate (YFVC) issued by an authorized Yellow fever vaccination centers upon arrival.
The certificate becomes valid 10 days after vaccination; therefore, travelers must be vaccinated at least 10 days before their departure to India. Travelers without possession of a valid certificate or with an immature certificate are quarantined for a maximum period of 6 days at designated facilities as per IHR. Also, there is no diplomatic immunity to these guidelines.

Visa Advisory

Brazilian nationals intending to work in India are required by Indian law to obtain an appropriate employment visa.
Engaging in employment activities on a tourist visa or any other visa category is strictly prohibited under Indian law.
