Embassy of India, Brasilia is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways is organizing the Third Edition of Global Maritime India Summit 2023 (GMIS 2023) from 17th – 19th October 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The Summit will bring together maritime stakeholders to collaborate on various investment opportunities & exchange ideas to bring the sector forward.

The Summit will focus on various aspects of the Maritime sector, promote best practices & facilitate interaction & collaboration among global maritime industries, policy makers, investors & other stakeholders.

Among the key themes will be maritime sustainability, innovation & research, innovation & technologies, tourism, maritime clusters, indigenized ship building & repair, inland & coastal shipping, maritime security & maritime professional services including financing, insurance, arbitration etc. This summit will be a step further to India's Vision of 2047 (100 years of independence) and will provide opportunities to potential investors and companies looking to set up or expand their footprint in India.
