Government of India has launched a new online portal: MADAD ('MEA' in Aid of Diaspora in Distress), a Consular Grievances Monitoring System.

3. Applicants may register their grievance on MADAD portal to seek assistance from the nearby Embassy/Consular of India. Consular grievances of all nature may be registered on this portal. A suggestive list of categories of grievances is given below.
4. Please note that grievances of regular nature (such as visa, passport, travel documents, attestation of documents etc.) will not be entertained on this portal.
5. MADAD portal also facilitates online monitoring the status of registered grievances.
