As regards the expenditure on dispatch of passport/documents, an amount of R$ 70 (as Sedex fee) shall be charged from each applicant. For more information, please visit https://eoibrasilia.gov.in/?11803?000 
Please note that at the time of initial registration as OCI Cardholder, the Indian national shall also be required to apply for ‘Renunciation of Indian Nationality/Passport’ for which separate fees shall have to be paid.

Payment of OCI Fees
The Embassy of India in Brasilia will now only accept payments for OCI Fee via bank transfer. Cash payments at the counter are no longer accepted with immediate effect except only in exceptional circumstances.
IMPORTANT- Application has to be submitted physically in the same month of fees payment

Important Instructions for Bank Transfer
When making the payment, please ensure the following information is correctly entered:
● Particulars: Your Surname/Name
● Code: Type of service (e.g. PASSPORT / OCI / VISA / PCC / RENUNCIATION / OTHERS)
● Reference: Your Application File Number or ARN Number
(If applying for attestation, you may enter your current passport number)
Note: The File/ARN number is generated upon completion of online registration.
Additional Guidelines
● A printed copy of the payment confirmation must be submitted along with your application.
● If applying for multiple services, please make separate payments for each, using different reference numbers.
● Applications must be submitted to the Embassy within 7 working days of making the payment.
● OCI processing fees are non-refundable. Please ensure all information in your application is complete and accurate before making the payment.
● Acceptance of a OCI application does not guarantee OCI issuance. The Embassy reserves the right to modify or refuse any application.
● The decision of the Embassy of India, Brasilia in this regard shall be final.
