Global Expression of Interest - Towable Hybrid Marine Energy Converter and Ocean Observation Platform
The Embassy of India in Brasília is pleased to inform that the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, has issued a Global Expression of Interest (EOI) cum Market Consultation for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and long-term operation of a Towable Hybrid Marine Energy Converter and Ocean Observation Platform under India's Deep Ocean Mission.
The proposed platform is intended for deployment in the waters off the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and is expected to integrate wave, wind and solar energy conversion systems, together with an ocean observation suite.
The EOI is open to Indian and international companies, as well as consortia. Organizations may express interest in the complete scope or in specific areas, including:
This EOI is intended as a market consultation to assess current technological capabilities and industry interest prior to preparation of the final tender.
