Finding information
- Use the main menu (About Us, Services, Documents, Media, Connect) at the top of every page. On a phone, select "Menu".
- Use the search box at the top: type a word such as "passport" or "visa" and choose a suggestion.
- The Sitemap lists all the sections and pages.
- The breadcrumb above the page heading shows where you are; the box beside the page lists the other pages of the same section.
Text size and contrast
- Use A− and A+ in the top bar to make the text smaller or larger, and A to go back to the normal size.
- Use "High Contrast" for black and white display. Select it again to switch it off.
- Your browser zoom (Ctrl and + / Ctrl and −; on a Mac, Cmd) also works on all pages.
Languages
The website is in English. Select हिन्दी or Português in the top bar for a machine translation by Google Translate; select English to return. The English text is the authoritative version.
Documents
Documents are mostly in PDF format and are labelled "PDF". To open them you need a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (free); most browsers also open PDF files directly.
Photos
In the Photo Gallery, select a photo to see it larger. Use the arrow keys or the arrow buttons to move between photos, and Esc or the close button to close the viewer.
