Content Contribution, Moderation and Approval Policy
Content is contributed by the wings of the Embassy (Consular, Commerce, Political, Press, Information and Culture, Administration). Each item is checked for accuracy by the contributing wing and approved by an officer designated by the Head of Chancery before it is published.
Content Archival Policy
News items, photos, press releases and announcements are kept on the website for the current year and the two previous years (at present 2024, 2025 and 2026). Tender notices are kept for the current year. Older items are removed from the website and kept in the Embassy's records. Permanent information such as services, fees and contact details stays on the website and is updated when it changes.
Content Review Policy
Pages on services, fees and contact details are reviewed whenever there is a change and at least once every three months. Each page shows the date it was last updated. Broken links are checked regularly.
Website Monitoring and Contingency Management
The website is monitored for availability, performance, broken links and security. In case of defacement or a technical failure, the website will be restored from a backup as soon as possible. Users may report problems to cons[dot]brasilia[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in.
Security Policy
The website is protected against unauthorised access and changes. It is served over HTTPS, it loads no third-party script before the user's consent, and it is to be audited for security before it goes live and after major changes.
