The Embassy of India, Brasilia will be auctioning one Mercedes Benz Sprinter 415 CDI (PAJ-5832) for the year 2016 (Kms 188096) model on “AS IS WHERE BASIS” on 25 March 2025 at 1500 hours in the premises of Embassy of India SES 805 Federal District Lote 24 Asa Sul Brasilia CEP 70452-900. The inspection and other details in respect of the said vehicle, interested parties can contact Mr. Jaspal Ahuja, Attache(Property) on any working date (Monday to Friday) between 1000 – 1700 hours.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. The bid will be confirmed in favour of the person quoting the highest rate in respect of the vehicle. The auction will be held in Embassy of India, Brasilia.

2. The eligible highest bidder will have to deposited 50% of the reserve price mentioned in clause 10 of the vehicle by the way of cash or bank transfer or bank draft drawn in favour “EMBAIXADA DA INDIA” as Earnest Money with Embassy of India, Brasilia on 19 March 2025 on the spot. The person interested to bid should bring proof of his/her identity.

3. To be eligible for bidding, the bidder shall along with depositing the earnest money, submit a written bid in closed cover in proforma (Annexure ‘A’) for purchase of the vehicle. The written bid shall not be less than the reserve price of the vehicle, as mentioned in clause 10 but may be more then that.

4. Before the start of auction of such vehicle, closed cover bids received for the vehicle shall be opened and declared.

5. At the time of auction, no bidder shall be permitted to bid for vehicle for an less then the reserve price of the particular vehicle as mentioned in clause 10 or the highest written bid received, whichever will be more.

6. The highest bidder immediately on the spot will deposit 50% of reserve price whose bid will be provisionally accepted by the way of cash or Bank transfer or demand draft. If the amount is not deposited, the vehicle will be put in auction again and the bidder will be barred from participating the auction further.

7. On the final acceptance of the bid, the remaining 50% amount is to be deposited by the highest bidder within three days of communication of the acceptance to him, failing which 50% of the reserve amount already deposited shall stand forfeited and vehicle will be sold in auction.

8. The Embassy of India will deal with the bidder directly and no middlemen/agents/commission agents etc. should asked by the bidder to represent their cause and they will not be entertained. At the bidding, any bidder trying to form cartel with other bidders to otherwise influence the bidding process mat be evicted and his/her earnest money may be liable to be confiscated.

9. Conditional bid will not be entertained. If the bid is withdrawn by the concerned party at any time after it is provisionally accepted, the entire money already deposited by him/her shall stand forfeited.

10. The reserve price of the car Registration No. PAJ-5832 would be Real 1,10,000 (Real One hundred thirty thousand only). The photographs of the vehicle is given in Annexure ‘B’.

11. The Embassy of India, in its discretion reserve the right to reject or accept any or all the bids, partly or completely, at any time without assigning any reasons therefor. The decision of the Committee of Officers conducting the auction shall be final.

12. It shall be presumed that the bidder has fully inspected the car before the auction. The Embassy of India shall not be responsible and shall not entertain any complaints in respect of any defect in the vehicle.

13. The officer/staff of the Embassy of India and their family members shall not be permitted to participate in the auction.

14. The successful bidder shall get the vehicle transfer in his/her name as per rules, at his own cost and responsibility, immediately on taking delivery and in any case within fortnight. Embassy of India shall not in any manner be concerned with or responsible for registration of the vehicles, and will have no liability whatsoever after the the delivery of vehicle to the successful bidder.
