IPC, the Global Non-Profit Trade Association established in 1957 in the USA, represents all facets of the electronics industry with members from 70+ countries, including India. IPC, supports international cooperation and programs to meet the needs of an estimated $2.0 trillion global electronics industry.
Since our incorporation in India in 2010, IPC has been engaged with Indian industry and government, and activities that are associated with missions like “Make in India” and “Skill India.” Our members include OEMs, EMS, PCB manufacturers, advanced packaging companies, electronic industry suppliers, and cable and wiring harness manufacturers. Members represent SMEs, large, global, and government organizations and serve vertical markets like aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, power, railways, ICT, etc.
IPC has developed an annual electronics industry forum in South Asia, Integrated Electronics Manufacturing and Interconnections (IEMI). The 3rd edition of IEMI will be organized in Bengaluru, India, during July 29–30, 2024. IEMI is an annual platform for the Indian electronics industry for business networking, developing export leads, inviting investments, and forming strategic partnerships. The Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, has been continuously supporting IEMI since 2022.
During the 2022–2023 IEMI events, international delegates visited from the USA, Germany, Israel, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand. 200+ B2B meetings were organized each year with international and Indian business delegates.
