The Embassy of India is pleased to share that the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, will be hosting the 49th edition of the India Carpet Expo from 11–14 October 2025 at the Carpet Expo Mart, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh.

Recognized as one of the largest carpet trade fairs in Asia, this biannual flagship event showcases the finest handmade carpets, rugs, and floor coverings from across India, with participation from over 225 leading manufacturers and exporters representing the country’s major carpet-producing hubs, including Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Panipat, and Srinagar. More than 500 overseas buyers from 60+ countries are expected to attend.

To encourage participation and facilitate business engagement, CEPC is offering a complimentary package for selected overseas buyers of handmade carpets and rugs, which includes:

• Airfare Subsidy - USD 700
• Hotel Accommodation - Up to 2 nights (with breakfast) in Varanasi between 10–14 October 2025.
• Shuttle services between Varanasi Airport, hotel, and the fair venue in Bhadohi during the event.
