Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2026.

The Embassy of India in Brasília is pleased to inform stakeholders in the agribusiness and food sectors about the Bharat International Rice Conference (BIRC) 2026, scheduled to be held from 23 to 25 October 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India.

Organized by the Indian Rice Exporters' Federation (IREF), BIRC 2026 is expected to be one of the world's largest rice industry events, bringing together exporters, importers, buyers, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders from over 120 countries.

The conference will provide a unique platform to:

  • Explore sourcing opportunities for a wide range of rice varieties, including Basmati, Non-Basmati, specialty, organic, and value-added rice products;
  • Connect with leading Indian and international exporters and suppliers;
  • Network with stakeholders from across the global rice value chain;
  • Learn about emerging technologies, innovations, and sustainable practices in the rice sector;
  • Engage with manufacturers of ready-to-eat (RTE), ready-to-cook (RTC), and rice-based food products.

BIRC 2026 is expected to attract approximately 30,000 participants and will feature dedicated business networking activities, exhibition areas, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
