Tender Notice - Chartering of an Ice-Class Vessel and Helicopters for the Indian Antarctic Programme

The Embassy of India in Brasília is pleased to disseminate the following tender notices issued by the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR), under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India.

NCPOR, the nodal agency responsible for implementing the Indian Antarctic Programme, has invited bids for the following services in support of the forthcoming Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica:

  1. Chartering of an Ice-Class Vessel for the Indian Antarctic Programme.
  2. Chartering of Helicopters (one KAMOV and one AS350 or equivalent) for Antarctic operations under the Indian Antarctic Programme.

Interested ship owners, helicopter operators, manufacturers, logistics providers, industry associations, and other organizations engaged in Antarctic logistics and related services are encouraged to participate in the bidding process.

The detailed tender documents, including the eligibility criteria, scope of work, submission deadlines, and other terms and conditions, are available in the attached tender notices.

The Embassy of India encourages all eligible organizations to review the tender documents and submit their bids in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
