Opportunity for Partnership in Gujarat Copper Plant (India)

The Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, has launched a global tender for partnership in the revival, operation, and maintenance of the Gujarat Copper Plant (GCP), a secondary copper smelter and refinery complex in India.

The Gujarat Copper Plant has an installed refining capacity of 50,000 TPA for manufacturing LME Grade ‘A’ equivalent copper cathodes and is designed to process a wide range of copper-bearing materials, including copper scrap and electronic waste (e-waste).

This tender presents a significant opportunity for international companies and consortiums, particularly those active in:
