India-Brazil Joint Working Group (JWG) on Oil and Natural Gas (07.04.2021)

On 7 April 2021, the India-Brazil Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting took place virtually under MoU for Cooperation in the field of Oil and Natural Gas. The Indian side was led by Shri. B. N. Reddy, Joint Secretary (International Cooperation), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and the Brazilian side was led by Mr. Aldo Barroso Cores Junior, Director, Department of Natural Gas, Ministry of Mines and Energy. The two sides reviewed ongoing collaboration in Oil & Gas sectors and explored opportunities for enhancing bilateral trade, investment, R&D, and Training and Capacity Building. The MoU was signed during the State visit of President Jair Bolsonaro to India in January 2020.
