The Embassy of India in Brazil is pleased to inform that the Government of Gujarat is organizing the 11th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027, from 10–12 January 2027 at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, on the theme "Viksit Gujarat - Shaping Global Future."

Launched in 2003 as an investor summit, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit has held ten editions to date. It has grown into a platform that brings together governments, corporate groups, MSMEs, start-ups, cooperatives, multilateral and bilateral organisations and international financial institutions. Ahead of the 2027 edition, four Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences were held across the State between October 2025 and June 2026.

Each day of the Summit has its own theme: "Global Alliances. New Growth Frontiers" (10 January), "Innovation. Future Industries. Sustainability" (11 January) and "MSMEs, Sports, Youth & Talent" (12 January). The programme includes Free Trade Agreement (FTA) sessions on trade and investment opportunities, focused sectoral sessions, country and state seminars, a Global Capability Centre (GCC) Leadership Conclave at GIFT City, and conclaves for MSMEs, women entrepreneurs and start-ups.

The Summit is relevant to Brazilian investors and companies working in semiconductors and electronics, aerospace and defence, green energy, critical minerals, biotechnology, shipbuilding and maritime, data centres and artificial intelligence. It is also relevant to trade and investment promotion agencies, industry federations, chambers of commerce, state governments, research institutions, start-ups and MSMEs. Brazilian participants are encouraged to attend and explore partnerships with Gujarat, which accounts for 17% of India's manufacturing output. The State Government has arranged preferential rates at hotels in and around Gandhinagar.
