50th India Carpet Expo

The Embassy of India in Brasília is pleased to inform Brazilian importers, wholesalers, retailers, and home furnishing professionals about the 50th edition of the India Carpet Expo, scheduled to take place from 11 to 14 April 2026 at the NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi (India).

Organized by the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), an apex body established under the Ministry of Textiles, the India Carpet Expo is one of the largest and most prominent international trade fairs dedicated to handmade carpets, rugs, and floor coverings. Since its inception in 2000, the Expo has become a key global sourcing platform connecting international buyers with leading Indian manufacturers and exporters.

The event will bring together over 200 manufacturers and exporters from India’s major carpet-producing regions—including Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Panipat, and Srinagar—showcasing a wide range of handmade carpets and floor coverings. The Expo is expected to attract more than 500 international buyers from over 60 countries.

To facilitate the participation of overseas buyers, the organizers are offering a complimentary hospitality package for selected international buyers of handmade carpets and rugs, which includes:

  • Two nights of complimentary hotel accommodation in New Delhi (room with breakfast) between 10–14 April 2026
  • Shuttle transportation between the hotel and the exhibition venue
