The Embassy of India in Brazil is pleased to inform that The Rice Exporters Association C.G. (TREACG), with the support of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI), FICCI and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is organizing the 3rd edition of the India International Rice Summit (IIRS) 2027, from 20–21 January 2027 at Maira Resort & Convention Centre, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, under the banner “Think Rice… Think India.”

India is the world’s leading rice exporter, accounting for approximately 40% of global rice trade. The Summit focuses on India’s premium non-basmati rice, including GI-tagged, organic, fortified, indigenous and heritage varieties, and on the wider rice value chain. The programme includes an exhibition, B2B meetings and buyer–seller interactions, a CEO Round Table conference, a Culinary Experience Zone, and knowledge sessions on global rice forecasts, market trends, export–import flows and the impact of climate change on rice production and trade.

The Summit welcomes rice importers and buyers, food companies, distributors, trade associations, government representatives, research institutions and technology providers interested in sourcing from or partnering with Indian rice producers, millers, processors and exporters.

For participating business delegates, including rice importers and buyers, TREACG will extend the following support, as per arrangements made by the organizers: pickup and drop at Raipur Airport, accommodation at Maira Resort & Convention Centre, complimentary registration, meals throughout the two-day Summit, structured B2B meetings, and on-ground coordination and assistance.
