The Embassy of India in Brazil is pleased to inform that Fairfest Media Limited and the Good Governance India Foundation, co-organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and with the support of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, are organizing Municipalika 2026 – the 19th International Exhibition & Conference on Safe, Smart & Sustainable City Solutions, from 9–11 December 2026 at Hall 6, Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on the theme "Powering Viksit Bharat @2047."

Over two decades and eighteen previous editions, Municipalika has become one of India's leading B2G and B2B platforms for urban development. It connects companies and institutions directly with policymakers, municipal commissioners, urban development authorities, public works departments, planners, engineers and procurement officials. The 2026 edition expects more than 300 exhibitors, 3,000 delegates and 10,000 trade visitors from over 25 Indian states.

Municipalika is held alongside CAPEx (Construction, Architecture, Planning & Engineering Expo) and PWX (Public Works Expo), forming an integrated event covering the full urban development and public works chain. The programme includes a three-day multi-track conference, B2B meetings and awards. The exhibition covers water and wastewater; sanitation, solid waste management and recycling; urban infrastructure and housing; smart and digital cities; urban transport and electric mobility; environment and pollution control; safety and security; and public works.

The event is of particular interest to Brazilian municipal and state governments, urban development and housing agencies, water and sanitation utilities, waste management companies, urban transport operators, construction technology and building materials firms, engineering and architecture consultancies, and smart city technology providers. Interested Brazilian participants are encouraged to take part as exhibitors, delegates, speakers or business visitors.
