Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (India@75) Quiz

1. India became an independent country on 15        August 1947. As part of this 75 years of India’s independence celebration, the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (India75) Quiz is being conducted for Non-Resident Indians, Persons of India Origin/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)card holders, and Brazilians/foreign nationals to enhance their knowledge about India.

2. The quiz is open for foreign nationals who are born on or after 1 January 1987 and on or before 31 December        2005.

3. For the quiz, the following subjects will be covered: Indian Geography, History, Freedom struggle, Food, Sports, Indian arts, dance and theatre, Architecture, Handicraft, Polity & Constitution, Wildlife & Environment, Trade & Economy, Awards, Indian cinema, Culture & Tradition, Music, Language & Literature, Science & Technology, Make-in-India, etc.

4. The Quiz website (https://akamquiz.in External website that opens in a new window/ External website that opens in a new window) also provides helpful reading material and one can also take the Mock Quiz to familiarise with the Quiz. These materials have been provided as an aid to participants, but it does not constitute the ‘syllabus’ of this online Test.

5. Quiz Structure: The Quiz will be conducted in one round starting from 01 January 2022 and will be open until 31 January 2022. The quiz is open to all those registered.

6. Online Registration: It is mandatory for the candidate to complete online registration at portal https://akamquiz.in/ External website that opens in a new window in order to participate in the online Quiz. The participant is required to enter a valid email ID and password by registering online at the portal. Following fields need to be submitted for registration:

  • Full Name
  • Gender
  • Email
  • Complete Mobile Number (including country code)
  • Date of birth
  • Country
  • City/Town
  • Participation Type: NRI / PIO / OCI / Foreign Nationals
  • Identification card and its number


7. General Rules & Regulations:

  • All registered participants will be eligible to take part in the AKAM Quiz.
  • Questions would be based on the topics mentioned above. A participant will have to answer 60 multiple choice questions in 60 minutes.
  • Each Question will have 4 answer options out of which only one is correct. To select an answer, click on one of the option buttons. A participant can shuffle between questions any time during the quiz as per convenience. Candidates are required to end the quiz by pressing SUBMIT button. The answers that are received by the system after pressing the ‘SUBMIT’ button only be considered for evaluation.
  • There is no negative marking for this Quiz. Questions for each participant may be different for the same topic.
  • All winners would be sent an email informing them about their success in AKAM Quiz.
  • In case of a tie-in Quiz score, the participant who took lesser time to answer questions would get a higher ranking.
